The 10 Simple Habits @ Work

Dream Big !!! Very Big !!! These are words from Dr. A.P.J Abdul Khalam former president of INDIA envisioning INDIA in 2020. For dreaming big, we need people to be there. According to recent surveys, before India becoming “Super Power Country” in 2020, its going to become the pitstop for “Heart Related Diseases“. Its all because of emerging IT industry and the work culture we are following. No room for physical activities. If we look back some 10 years, the situation is different. The 8-10 * work what we are doing not only deciding the rest of the hours for the day and also our fate. Work is very important, if we follow some simple habits @ WorkPlace, we can be healthy.

Letz see what are the 10 simple habits that can be followed.

1) A 5 min break for every one hour. You can hear some good music and just Rome around your office premises. #Possible. Be adhere to it, don break for long, work is also important. Im an exception !!! Converse is true for me   .

2) By birth we have 2 Legs for navigation. Use stairs don use lifts. Double benefit, you can burn calories as well as the electricity bill. #Possible. One small advice don use stairs after lunch, more blood will be circulating around yur legs which may impact digestion.

3) Care about these 3L’s Laugh, Love and Like
Laugh: Spend some time with your friends @Breakfast, @Lunch, @Coffee break. Share some lite moments with them.#Possible
Love : Love your profession. #Possible
Like : Like your task and enjoy it. #Possible

4) Drink atleast 4 litres of water, if you can drink more #Good. Daily bring water bottle, keep it small. The more little the bottle, the more will be navigation for filling it. Bring some cute and compact water bottles having capacity not more than 500 ml.#Possible. Because of AC environment we will not feel thirsty, still drink. #Possible

5) Eat 5 times a day. Dont dump your stomach with food by eating 3 times a day. Add these 5 elements in your diet Cereals, Raw fruits, Boiled vegetables, Non salted Nuts and Green Tea (Avoid coffee, tea with milk).# Possible

6) Forget your Sixth Finger and the drinks from Six Letter Shop. This is applicable for most of the Guys and some Girls. Don’t blindly excuse yurself by telling stress is the reason. Practice Meditation. #Possible

7) Groom yourself with the 7 habits suggested by Stephen R. Covey, your Work-Life Balance will be good. Independence, Interdependence and Self Renewal. I hope most of us from academy had a chance to attend a session reg this. #Possible by Practice

8 ) Have eight hours of soundful sleep. Mental health is also more important. 8 pack Brain is also important. Don’t calorify your brain by spending more time b4 T.V. Read some good books. Spend most time with your family members and friends, not with gadgets. #Possible Also don sleep beyond 8 Hours  . #More Possible

9) It’s advisable to spend atmost 9 hours @ work. Don’t spend hours beyond that. Work is workship, still personal life is also equally important. #Pay attention

10) Just say Good Bye to the 10 Rs packed items. This includes Chips, Chocolates, Cookies with more calories, Cup Noodles and Baked items. If you feel hungry bring some fruits and protein rich food from home and have it. #Don Jalsa with Junk
It’s difficult to follow all these habits at no time. Take a week for each habit, make sure your are adapted to that habit for the week. If you do within 2 months you can adhere to these habits   .

“Break 1 ,Climb 2 , Love 3, Drink 4 , Eat 5 , Forget 6, Groom 7, Sleep 8, Work 9, Avoid 10″.

Wealth is gone, nothing is lost….Health is gone, everything is lost…..
